Wanvane Monitoring

Know it is down
before the phone rings.

Live monitoring for MikroTik routers, Ubiquiti radios and VSOL GPON — with a WhatsApp the moment something drops, and a way into the device without driving to the tower.

The gear a WISP actually has.

Not a generic SNMP box. Each vendor is polled the way that vendor is meant to be polled, so the numbers mean what they say.

MikroTik

Routers and switches over the RouterOS API, reached through a WireGuard tunnel the platform provisions for you — paste one script into the terminal and it appears.

interfacesCPU & memoryPPPoE sessionsPoE portsvoltage
Ubiquiti

airMAX, AirFiber and Wave radios pulled through your UISP controller. Add the controller once, then import only the devices you want watched.

VSOL GPON

OLTs polled over SNMP, with every ONU appearing underneath its own OLT — optical levels, uptime and status without a separate tool.

Sites, not just devices. Group by tower or POP, and a site that loses its uplink tells you once — instead of forty devices all shouting at the same moment.
Alerting

A WhatsApp, not an inbox nobody reads.

Alerts land where you already are. Up and down transitions, and battery voltage crossing a threshold you set per device — so a site running on batteries tells you while there is still time to get there.

  • Per-device switches — the ones that matter alert, the rest stay quiet
  • A shared list of numbers, so the on-call person is a setting and not a redeploy
  • Low-voltage thresholds per device, because a 48 V site and a 12 V site are not the same
  • Every alert kept in the app, so you can see what happened overnight

Remote access

Open the device's own interface, from here.

Monitoring tells you something is wrong. This is the part that lets you do something about it without a two-hour drive: the device's own web interface, proxied over the tunnel that is already there.

  • Client CPE and radio interfaces opened straight from the device page
  • Routes and NAT provisioned for you when a device is added
  • PoE ports on MikroTik switches switched off, on, or power-cycled from the browser
  • Roles decide who may do it — viewers look, operators act

History

Three weeks of detail, without three weeks of disk.

Recent data is kept at full resolution because that is what you need when you are chasing something now. Older data is averaged down as it ages, so the graphs keep going back without the database growing forever.

  • Full resolution for the last two days
  • Five-minute averages out to two weeks
  • Hourly beyond that, to the end of your retention window
  • Same graphs, same pages — the detail thins out, nothing disappears
